Our client is a multiple award-winning NHS trust. They have received an overall ‘Good’ rating from the CQC, with their Maternity services deemed ‘Outstanding’. They also received a rating of ‘Outstanding’ for medical care and end of life care. They are one of the largest employers in the UK with over 3000 staff delivering a range of medical services to a large population.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for 3 Consultants & 2 Specialty doctors to join full time with our client. This new post has been created to compliment and strengthen the existing team of surgeons working within the surgical department at the trust and we are seeking an enthusiastic colleague to join the team.
The successful applicant must be committed to working flexibly within the team and will be encouraged to develop sub speciality interests to complement those of the existing members. The trust is a teaching hospital with excellent research facilities are available and as such, a strong commitment to undergraduate and postgraduate teaching and research is essential.
It is envisaged that applicant will hold a higher medical degree, outstanding surgical skills, excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
EEA, UK, and Ireland qualifications are accepted. If you have begun a recognized UK fellowship program or MRCP, your applications are also welcome.
